My time as a Summer Intern at Indigogold has been nothing short of outstanding. From the initial interview the team have been extremely professional and approachable; these attitudes continued throughout my experience with the company, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every opportunity that being a part of this amazing team has offered me.

The way in which the team operates, is one of trust, and understands the value of communication. There is a great sense of autonomy within the internship, where I was able to plan my days and the award itself, freely. This allowed me to enjoy some creative freedom regarding the award, which I found to be extremely beneficial. Whilst the team allows for this autonomy, all members are open for assistance and are extremely approachable for any questions you may have.

Overall, my experience with Indigogold has been invaluable, and I am sad to leave such a great team! My role was, primarily, to organise the Work Psychology Innovation Award, which was to be held, for the first time, virtually and was to now include international nominees and judges. Each day has presented me with new opportunities for learning and growth, as I was able to help with various other business tasks throughout my internship. On the day-to-day logistic level, I have been able to expand my knowledge and gain a greater understanding of project planning and co-ordination of an event - particularly the intricate and important steps that must be taken to follow through on a successful project. I have also been able to learn about consultancy work within psychology as an industry, as well as having the chance to learn about academic psychology research that is being undertaken.

This is something that was highly interesting to me as a recent Philosophy graduate, and Indigogold ensured that I had the opportunity to have a full and immersive experience whilst with the team. These are invaluable skills that I have been fortunate enough to have been able to expand on, in such a calm yet professional environment.
